Former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has died at the age of 76 after battling pancreatic cancer. A documentary about Erikson was released on Amazon Prime just before his death, and he left a final message for everyone.

“I’ve had a good life. I think we all fear the day we die, but life is also about death. You have to learn to accept what’s going on. Hopefully at the end of the day people will say, ‘Yeah, he’s a good guy. But not everyone will say that,'” Erikson said.

“I hope everyone remembers me as someone who is positive and tries to do everything he can. Don’t be sad. Smile. Thank you for everything, all the coaches, all the players, the fans. It’s been great. Take care of yourself and take care of your life. And live. Goodbye.”
